Shanghai, China where she treated hundreds of
patients suffering from a variety of conditions such
as: paralysis and pain from strokes, polio, Bell's
palsy, sciatica and TMJ. She also participated in a
research study at the Salvation Army Rehabilitation
Center in Los Angeles that used acupuncture to treat
patients with drug and alcohol addiction.

Cyndee's treatment approach integrates the concepts

Medicine, one begins to understand how emotions
affect the physical body and how lifestyles affect
the emotions and the relationship between mental,
physical, emotional and spiritual balance.

Denise Hirschberg
L.Ac.
MAOM
(Burns Location)
What
I enjoy most about my profession is having the
opportunity to work closely with each individual in
obtaining optimal health and a better quality of
life. A few of the acupuncture techniques I utilize
to accomplish this include: Callison’s motor point
acupuncture, Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method,
electro-stimulation and manual therapies such as
moving cupping and Tui Na. While I have studied and
practiced a wide range of Chinese Medicine, I have
gained a special interest in the treatment of
orthopedic conditions such as: sports related
injuries, acute & chronic pain, pain
management, pre & postoperative care, as well as
stress and anxiety.
I have
faith in the effectiveness of both Western and
Eastern medicine. I believe these two methods of
treatment compliment each other and can be
integrated in a way where the benefits of each help
to create a balance in healing and support whole
body wellness.
I am
excited to be a part of the Center for Integrated
Medicine and to have the opportunity of working
closely with a variety of health care providers to
ensure the most complete care.
