Our Massage Therapist:
Danella Durieux, LMT
After receiving a fair amount of massages that I found dissatisfying, I began massaging friends and family when I was 16 years old. Massage has always been a part of my life in some form and until I moved to Bend and had no one to work on, I didn’t realize how important it was to me. This void in my life, and my mother, encouraged me to get my license and begin working as a Massage Therapist. In 2013, I graduated from Sage School of Massage in Bend, OR and have since worked at a few places before coming to C.O.A. I am trained in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Prenatal, Stretching and Chair Massage. My massages generally include a combination of relaxation and pain relief unless the client requires or requests otherwise; customizing each massage is very important to me. I believe that being present during every massage and focusing on each muscle I am working on makes a significant difference in how the client feels during and after our session. When I am not massaging I enjoy reading, bird watching, dancing, playing music and drawing.
